Marieke’s passion is designing spaces where people truly feel at home, find daily inspiration, and can function at their best. For her, an interior is more than just something beautiful to look at; it is an extension of an organization’s identity as well as of the people who work there. At Parella, she translates strategic goals and user needs into environments that are warm, functional, and future-oriented. Plants, natural materials, and sustainable elements play an important role in this, contributing to a pleasant and healthy working environment.

Marieke began her career by studying Architecture, followed by a master’s degree in Interior Architecture. She previously ran her own studio, M Works Interior, where she realized a wide range of commercial projects. Since 2025, she has been working at Parella, where she uses her experience to create inspiring, well-considered interiors that genuinely help people and organizations move forward.
