For the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa) in Utrecht, Parella developed a new working environment. NZa safeguards the quality, accessibility, and affordability of healthcare. The objective was to translate this public mission into an office that stimulates collaboration and provides a comfortable and effective workspace for all departments.

The conception & realisation

NZa’s ambitions were translated into a clear workplace concept with distinct zones for focus, meetings, and interaction. This layout makes it easy to switch between concentrated work and collaboration. Transparency and accessibility were central to the design, with logical routing, recognizable team zones, and spaces for spontaneous interaction.

The interior supports hybrid working through a mix of meeting and project rooms, quiet areas, and informal hubs. This ensures employees have the right facilities for both in-person and digital collaboration. The atmosphere is open and welcoming, aligning with NZa’s public role and mission.

From design to delivery, the project was managed in an integrated manner and closely aligned with all stakeholders involved. Careful attention was given to planning, quality, and user satisfaction. The result is a future-proof working environment that supports employees in their daily activities and makes collaboration intuitive.
