For Energie Data Services Nederland (EDSN) B.V., Parella delivered the new headquarters in Amersfoort. Acting as both office broker and commercial real estate advisor, we guided the entire process—from workplace consultancy and brokerage to office design and Design & Build. The objective: a future-proof office interior where flexibility, collaboration, and sustainability take center stage.

The conception & realisation

The EDSN project began with workplace consultancy: an analysis of work processes and growth ambitions, translated into a scalable workplace concept with zones for focus, meetings, and co-creation. In our role as office broker and commercial real estate advisor, we provided location advice, lease acquisition, and contract negotiation as a solid foundation for the realization.

The office design was developed and executed in an integrated Design & Build approach. We consciously chose circular solutions: reused materials, mobile desks, and rotating boards create an adaptive office interior that easily evolves with changing teams. Sustainability was central to material choices and detailing, with the aim of extending lifespan and reducing environmental impact.

During the realization phase, we managed planning, budget, and quality. The result is an efficient, collaboration-driven working environment in which resources can be used flexibly and employees can switch seamlessly between activities.

Cliniclowns

― For Stichting CliniClowns, an organisation that provides support through humour and distraction to sick children, children with disabilities, and people with dementia, Parella realised the redesign of the office in Amersfoort. The brief was to transform the building into a future-ready meeting and working environment, with additional focus on training and video facilities due to the growing online interaction with children at home.
